As I write this months report, Amarillo is buried in snow. Got to love this Texas weather. Spring is just around the corner and the temperatures will soon be warming back up. I know we are all praying for plenty of rain this spring. We don’t want or need another drought like previous years.
In early March we will attend the Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show & Sale. Good luck to all the contestants! Make sure to send us some of your photos or put them on our Facebook page. March also means Chick Days. Join us for our first Chicken Seminar at the Azle store on March 16th at 10:00 am. Please RSVP to 817-988-4714 or sign up online.
On Sunday March 31st, all Russell Feed & Supply stores will be closed in obvservance of Easter. I wish everyone a safe and happy Easter with their family and friends.
With the hope of not stepping on any toes, I must say, if we ran our business the way the government conducts its business, we would be bankrupt, put in jail or locked away in a mental institution. How hard is it to figure out you can’t spend more money than you take in? Every business, retiree, housewife, etc. makes these same decisions every day. It’s not rocket science, it’s a math problem. Our leaders drive me crazy sometimes.
Hay Report: Hay has not been a problem for a while, so I am going to suspend the report until conditions change.
Get out and enjoy the sunshine!
See you around the barn,
