Greater Fort Worth Herb Society 2016 Herb Festival
Join Russell Feed & Supply at this year’s 2016 Herb Festival on Saturday, May 21st from 9 am to 3 pm at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center.
The Annual Herb Festival is presented by the Greater Fort Worth Herb Society and features over 30 vendors promoting and selling herbs and other herb gardening related products and services. And, register for drawings and giveaways throughout the day! General admission is $2 (FREE for kids 12 & Under) for the event scheduled from 9am to 3pm. Plan to spend the entire day at the Festival and at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Your admission wristband will allow you to come and go to and from the Festival throughout the day.
For $2 per session, attend one or all of several workshops offered throughout the day. Also, our Haltom City store manager, Carl Cathey, will represent Russell Feed and offer up his own fresh herb harvest for sale— Stop by and say hello!
About the Greater Fort Worth Herb Society
The Greater Fort Worth Herb Society was founded in 1985 with the purpose of sharing knowledge of herbal folklore, planting, growing, propagating, cultivating, harvesting and using herbs. A further goal is the fostering of education and knowledge regarding herbs and other botanical subjects. The Society maintains the The Log Cabin Pioneer Herb Garden in Fort Worth as well as support for horticulture scholarships at Tarrant County College.
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center is located at the Deborah Beggs Moncrief Garden Center at 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard in Fort Worth.
