Come celebrate the history and heritage of the American Cowboy at the National Day of The American Cowboy (NDAC) in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Voted best cowboy tribute event in the nation by American Cowboy Magazine, NDAC gives families and the general public the opportunity to experience and appreciate the role cowboys and cowgirls of all ethnicities have played and continue to play in everyday life.

A team from Russell Feed & Supply is again participating in the World Championship Hay Stacking Contest at 10am on Saturday, June 25th.  Come cheer on our undefeated Russell Feed Hay Stackers!

Free activities and contests include watermelon eating, seed-spitting, cow chip throwing and buckaroo coloring among others. There will also be a cowboy celebration parade, Cowboy karaoke and gunfight shows.

3 man teams compete for $400.00 cash

10:00- 4:00 Bill Picket Pictorial Exhibit– FREE

Learn about the life of the famous Bill Pickett 

10:00-4:00 Cow Milking Contest – FREE

Milk the cow the fastest and win a prize!

10:30- 12:30 Chuck Wagon Demonstration with Corn Hole Games- FREE

Learn about cooking on trails and taste the desert of the West while enjoying various games

11:30 Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive followed by the Cowboy Celebration Parade -FREE

12:00 Watermelon Eating Contests – FREE

12:00- 1:00 “Tip to Tip” Guessing Contest- FREE
