Pecan and fruit trees need a little extra spraying to help the tree to produce a healthy crop in the upcoming year. During the dormant season (winter) help control scale insects on the trees, spray with a 97% oil emulsion. (Horticulture Oil) Spray tree trunks and branches thoroughly. Apply when temperature is between 40 and 70 degrees F.
