November is already here and the Holidays are coming soon. If you have family coming for the Holidays you don’t want the bare spots in the lawn looking bad. To fix this just spread annual rye grass seed over the area. Annual rye grass is a winter hard grass that will grow until temperatures reach the high 70’s or 80’s next spring. Annual rye grass seeds will sprout in 7 to 14 days. Landscapers use it on their commercial properties to keep them looking nice all winter long. For your lawn or newly seeded lawn use Nature’s Guide 3-0-5 Fall Fertilizer to keep the lawn green and growing till frost. Average Frost date for the DFW area is November 22nd. Before the first frost be sure and move tender plants inside.
Stop by a Russell Feed and Supply location near you for rye grass seed and Fall Fertilizer!
